The Infection and another Information about Herpes Zoster Mouth
Herpes zoster or shingles is caused by virus. This is caused by the same virus which you have when you get chickenpox. Because of it, commonly people who have ever got chickenpox, may be infected by the herpes zoster. It is because when you have chickenpox and you have recovered, the virus does not totally disappeared. The virus is inactive and it can be active again when your immune system is weak. The herpes zoster can appear in any parts of your body and Herpes Zoster Mouth is only one of the cases.
The herpes zoster can be so painful. It can make you feel that your skin is burning. After several days, rash will also appear on your skin. In this case, the Herpes Zoster Mouth can be totally annoying and painful. It is because the pain is on your mouth and it can make your appetite disappeared because you cannot really enjoy the taste of your meal. When you have the herpes zoster, pain killer and cool compresses can be so useful to reduce the pain and make the rash dry. I was haven herpes 1 and 2 spreading all over my body even on my private part too. I have had them for about 2 and a bit years.
