Herpes simplex is a disease caused by herpes simplex virus (HSV). The herpes simplex virus is divided into two types. The first type or HSV-1 occurs in the area of your mouth and eyes. Commonly, it is called oral herpes. The second type or HSV-2 occurs in the area of your genital organ.  That is why it is commonly called genital herpes. Actually, the Herpes Simplex 2 is not always in your genital organ, but mostly it happens on the area under your waist. The virus itself can be spread by the direct contact. For the HSV-2, it can spread through the sexual contact.

If they have it, then it should be treated by the doctor soon, because it can affect the child’s body when the women give birth. The clear symptom of the herpes simplex is blister around the affected area. The blisters can break and create sores. In the case of Herpes Simplex 2, the blisters can appear on the genitals and those blisters can create severe pain. For the treatment, commonly doctor will give pain reliever and other medication to heal the herpes. You can also have warm bath to reduce the pain of the disease.
